Lol, ok the post is funny, and I agree that these songs are 7aky fady, the same way I agree that those life style, teens and beauty magazines spreading now in Jordan and action movies are 7aki fady. It’s just the way I think, ana 7ur, but I wont ever be against these things just because they are 7aky fady. Sure someone like them or they wont even continue…

But what I really can’t understand why lots of people attacking, obsessed with the idea that these songs – and let’s even call them pornography- are aiming to destruct our “perfect society”!! I’m just trying to understand what exactly they will destruct, will they lower the productivity? Creativity? Humanity? Education? Rightness? Individuality? Equality? What exactly the huge effect they are causing on our society to be called destruction. How bad will we be after being destructed? Will we be as Amsterdam for example? Do people that much suffer living there and beg for help from their total destruction? Is it honor and chastity of our society we are defending? If so then there is no need to worry much, our “perfect society” still b alf khair, just two days ago a girl in Irbed got shot twice in the head from her brother, because he suspected that he saw a naked picture for her on his friend’s mobile!

Husams: what these videos are doing and the attitude that comes along with such forms of "art", is disturbing because Jordanian and Arab society in general should presumably be concerned with much more important issues. Like you mentioned, we have problems (ie-honor killings) that need to be addressed, but our youth are too bus watching these videos on tv and on their cell phones. I think our leaders in the Arab world enjoy such distractions because they are a kind of "sedative" against the various social, economic, and political crises that plague our countries. What they are destroying is precious time, energy, and money wasted on watching, buying, and discussing this form of "art".

Well, this porno type of video clips are spread all over the planet, sooner or later it would've came to the Arab world.
I don't have a TV, I don't like watching it anyway, but in the end I don't see it in the way it's mentioned, if all of this exposure is on TV, it was always like that, nobody can stop it, but in the end only the legends last.
If we can't stop watching these channels, well this means we have a lot of problems, that this kind of clips temporarily helping us, why don't we just dig to the root of the problem instead of blaming these porn stars (sorry singers).
Sometimes I feel that everybody is complaining about these songs, and everybody is watching them, if you are complaining why are you watching, you can just change the channel.
Like all the problems in the world are solved and this is the only problem remaining.
People are working more than the time the sun shows up in the sky, just to afford a descent living, others are digging the rocks just to find a job, others can't afford to eat everyday. Well I guess these are more important things to complain about (as the only thing we do is complain, so at least lets complain about a real problem). well if some singer is making a porno clip, she got bills to pay, don't blame her, blame those who can waste all there lives watching her, and after that (of course) complaining about it.

You implied that I and those like me .. watch these things and complain about them .. so is it better that we leave our kids to watch whatever they want without monitoring? should we simply just change the channel because we don't like what we see and do nothing? allow me to disagree here .. because these things are like worms that are eating us from the inside out .. and it is one of the big problem ... on the other hand, let me rant about this and leave the others to write about other problems so that we can reach a balance .. we can't all talk about the same things right?

How i see this is that if the people didnt WANT all this then it wouldnt have been that popular nor that the demand was so high. The funny thing is every time i turn on one of these music channels I see a NEW face!! It is going crazy!

So funny! And true,however this does not mean that even if songs are silly and hollow ppl won't listen to em anymore! It's good we're aware of how looks is pretty much everything needed in this industry, starting by Jessica simpson and finishing w Ruby!!

Don't get me wrong, I didn't mean anything personal, I was just talking in general, as lots of my colleagues, who are not married, don't have little brothers and sisters, are watching this crap, and the next day, they just talk about it, after they finish they complain, which really annoys me.
And regarding monitoring kids, well you can see that porno CD's are sold like potato in amman, it's in the reach of any human, if you want to monitor what they are watching, well you have to be with them 24 hours a day, I guess, we have reached a level that we can't possibly deny that would grow purely, like as if we did.
To solve a problem like this, I guess we need an out of the box solution, cause forbidding kids from seeing such thing has failed, and would always fail. I'm not found of children, and I don't like them too, maybe that's why I don't care much about raising them, other people care, that is why I guess other things are more important, maybe I'm wrong, but that is my point of view
